FAQ’s
1. What is Christian Counselling?
Christian Counselling is a form of counselling that integrates Christian beliefs, principles, and values into the therapeutic process. It is based on the understanding that spiritual well-being is interconnected with emotional, psychological, and relational health. Christian Counselling seeks to address psychological and emotional challenges while drawing upon the wisdom and guidance found in biblical teachings and scripture. It aims to promote personal growth, self-awareness, and improved well-being through a confidential and non-judgmental therapeutic process.
2. Who can benefit from Christian Counselling?
Christian Counselling is suitable for individuals who identify as Christians or those open to incorporating Christian principles into their counselling journey. Christian Counselling provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, and deepen their spiritual journey. While we do take a faith-based approach in our service delivery, we also understand that some individuals may not be ready to delve into this aspect. For this reason, our therapists will only approach this topic at the direction of the client. It is important to recognise that Christian Counselling is just one option among many available forms of counselling. Individuals are encouraged to choose an approach that resonates with their personal beliefs and values.
3. Why should I consider counselling?
